Rachel grew up in Alaska and was raised by parents who instilled in her the importance of good cooking and its power to bring people together. They also made sure to bring her outside enough for her to realize what an amazing place she lived in and that it needs to be treated as such. These values were all honed in University while majoring in Environmental Studies and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. As well as living with and cooking for a bunch of roommates. Founding Foods is the perfect way to bring all of these passions together.
Kate has been cooking professionally for 10 years. To say she has a passion for food would be an understatement. She has been with Founding Foods pretty much since the beginning, and can handle anything in the kitchen. When she’s not in the kitchen she enjoys writing, reading, and the occasional knitting project.
Adriana was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. She came to the US to play tennis at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and graduated with a business degree with an emphasis in marketing. After graduation, she worked at The Honest Company where she discovered her passion for using all things “natural” in her life and the importance of reading the ingredients label. In her free time she enjoys frequenting book stores, traveling the world and spending time outdoors.
Sydney grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a degree in visual art. She spends most of her time doing art or enjoying all that Alaska has to offer.
Shane befriended Rachel and Sean in the foothills of the rockies, finding that feeling of home in the climbing and hiking trips. He graduated from University of Colorado with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He joined Founding Foods to take the first step towards making positive environmental impacts and the change we need to be in the world.
Sean grew up in France, England and America and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he also discovered rock climbing. He currently lives in London, works in business development, and consults for Founding Foods.
